Finish quality is decided by airflow and the heat curve. Heat output stands behind half of that equation, and yet it is often read in isolation from the chamber it has to heat.
The heat output range in kcal per hour delivered in this family runs from 200,000 to 600,000, and it is read against the internal size rather than apart from it.
Why the figure does not stand alone
One chamber can be heated by an output in the middle of the range if its wall is a 50 mm insulated panel, and needs more than that if the wall is 1.5 mm galvanised sheet at the same size. The figure is an outcome of configuration rather than an independent property.
The factors that move it
| Factor | Effect |
|---|---|
| Chamber volume | Height 2650 – 6000 mm and width to 20,000 mm |
| Wall | 50 mm insulated panel or 1.5 mm galvanised sheet |
| Required heat curve | Set to the coating, not to the vehicle |
| Heating system | Five systems delivered; choice follows coating and energy cost |
The heat curve comes before the figure
What is asked of a booth is not a peak temperature but a curve: ramp, hold and cool at a timing that suits the coating. Woodworking runs a lower-temperature drying cycle while industrial work sets the curve to the industrial coating in use — and two chambers of the same size can sit at different outputs for that reason alone.
Frequently asked questions
Does a higher figure mean faster drying?
It means more heating capacity for a larger volume. Cycle time follows the coating curve and the air capacity together, and delivered air capacity runs from 18,000 to 190,000 m³/h per supply or extraction set.
How is the right figure identified for a given chamber?
Send the dimensions of the largest part to be coated and the coating in use. The internal size is fixed first, and heat output is then built on it within the configuration signed off before manufacture.
Does the figure differ between diesel and gas burners?
Heat output is what is asked of the installation, and the five delivered heating systems are different routes to it. The diesel burners published in this family are Italian Riello and Baltur units.
Are temperature and humidity controlled together?
Temperature and humidity control is delivered on custom booths whose coating requires a controlled environment, and the range is set per project by the finishing material and the part’s requirements.
