Car AC service stations for refrigerant recovery and recharging

Refrigerant vented to the atmosphere is a double loss: gas you paid for and an environmental breach. This family covers fully automatic service stations that recover and recycle refrigerant, evacuate the circuit and recharge it by measured weight. Configuration changes with daily throughput and how much automation is required.

Models

Each model in this family has its own page with the full specifications. Open the model page you are interested in to compare on figures before you send the quote request.

Industries served

Each industry configures it differently. The table below states what actually changes from one to the next.

Industries served by the AC service stations family and what changes in configuration
IndustryWhat changes in configuration
Automotive RepairA fully automatic 8-function station on one hook-up (ACMAS301) for R134a and R1234yf, with UV leak detection and a 120 L/min vacuum pump
Auto DealersBoth R134a and R1234yf for newer models on the ACMAS301, and a service reminder every 600 operations on the ACMAS302
Auto FleetA 120 L/min vacuum pump and 2 kg/min recharge (ACMAS301) for back-to-back cycles on fleet vehicles
Car RentalA hand-valve-free automatic station (ACMAS302) for R134a, built in as a fixed step of every rental inspection
Education & TrainingFree A/C database updates and a multi-language interface (ACMAS302) for hands-on training

Configuration range and installation requirements

To choose the right station start from three questions: how many cars enter daily? how much automation does the technician need? and do you need leak testing and circuit flushing?

Recovery rate

99% on the ACMAS301 and 97% on the ACMAS302. The gap shows cumulatively across a large fleet, not on a single car.

Functions covered

The ACMAS301 performs 8 functions including recovery, recycling, vacuum, recharge, A/C flush and UV dye leak testing. The ACMAS302 is the economic model covering recovery, vacuum, oil injection and charging, and it runs hand-valve free.

Tank capacity and filtration

The ACMAS301 carries a 12 L refrigerant tank and a 0.122 L dry filter. The ACMAS302 carries a 10 kg gas cylinder and a 250 ml oil bottle.

Vacuum pump and operating rates

A 120 L/min vacuum pump on the ACMAS301, and 60 L/min as standard on the ACMAS302 with a 120 L/min option. Recycling on the ACMAS301 runs at 0.5 kg/min and recharging at 2 kg/min, driven by a 3/8 HP compressor.

Accuracy and display

The ACMAS301 scale reads to +/-10 g for refrigerant and +/-5 g for oil on a 480×272 LCD. The ACMAS302 uses a 4.3-inch TFT screen with a service reminder every 600 operations.

Supply and dimensions

The ACMAS301 and ACMAS302 both run on 220 V or 110 V AC at 50/60 Hz. The ACMAS302 measures 630×620×1040 mm, packed at 720×660×1190 mm.

Site requirements

Installation, commissioning and operator training time is set after a site survey

Frequently asked questions about this family

What is the difference between the ACMAS301 and the ACMAS302?

The ACMAS301 is the higher model: 8 functions, 99% recovery, a 12 L tank, a 120 L/min vacuum pump and UV dye leak testing. The ACMAS302 is the economic model at 97% recovery with a 10 kg cylinder and a 60 L/min pump as standard.

How long does an A/C circuit flush take?

Between 20 and 60 minutes on the ACMAS301, depending on the condition of the circuit.

What electrical supply is required?

220 V or 110 V AC at 50/60 Hz on the ACMAS301 and the ACMAS302 alike.

Which refrigerants are supported?

The ACMAS301 supports R134a and R1234yf with UV leak-detection dye; the ACMAS302 supports R134a

Do these stations serve fleets and training centres?

Yes. These stations serve automotive repair workshops, auto dealers, government and commercial fleets, car rental centres and vocational training institutes.

Adding A/C service to the workshop or replacing an ageing station?

Send us your daily throughput, the nature of the fleet and the level of automation you need, and we will recommend the right model.
