Why length alone is not enough
A chamber fixed from length alone takes the body horizontally and meets it vertically. The reverse is equally true: a tall short chamber leaves part of the unit past the door.
The three dimensions are read together, and the technician’s working space is added to each. That is what makes the chamber larger than the unit rather than equal to it.

A flat surface changes the cycle
A wide flat surface reveals uneven distribution far more readily than a curved one. A difference between two zones on a caravan flank reads by eye immediately, where the same difference disappears on a curved car panel.
Air distribution inside the chamber is therefore a specification item rather than an incidental outcome, and the extraction direction is fixed from the nature of the body before the capacity is fixed.

Frequently asked questions
Will one booth serve caravans and trucks?
Yes, if the size is built on the larger of the two. A larger chamber takes a smaller body, but the cycle is calculated on chamber volume, so it keeps the running cost of the large chamber.
How does it differ from a bus chamber?
In the proportions rather than the principle. A bus is usually longer and a caravan taller relative to its length; both sit inside the same delivered range and are fixed by measuring the body.
Is there a ready-made caravan-sized booth?
No. Anything beyond the automotive envelope is designed and built to order, starting with a site survey and a fixed internal size, then configuration sign-off before manufacture.
