Engineering basis

What makes the difference in daily operation

More supply air than exhaust air

The booth brings in 20,000 m³/h and extracts 18,000, so the chamber sits at a slight positive pressure that keeps workshop dust from creeping in during spraying. An air speed of 0.25 m/s at 280 changes per hour carries overspray off the vehicle for the whole cycle.

From 20 °C to 60 °C in minutes

The Riello G20 burner, rated at 200,000 kcal/h through an argon-arc welded SUS304 exchanger, brings the chamber to baking temperature in 5 to 7 minutes, and a 5 m chimney carries combustion gases clear of the workshop roof.

How it differs

How the INTECH X300 differs from its nearest model

The INTECH X360 is the same booth with identical air and power figures (20,000+18,000 m³/h, 11 kW); it differs in the wall, ROCKWOOL instead of EPS, and in a base with three rows of grille instead of two.

The INTECH X500 raises the air to 25,000+25,000 m³/h with two 7.5 kW turbine fans, and adds a pneumatic damper, a filter pressure gauge and a full-grille base, on 17 kW.

The 6900×4000×2650 mm chamber, the burner, the heat output and the ceiling filtration are the same across all INTECH models.

FAQ

Common questions about the INTECH X300

What is the air capacity of the INTECH X300 paint booth?

Two 3 kW centrifugal supply fans deliver 20,000 m³/h and a 4 kW exhaust fan extracts 18,000 m³/h, at 600 Pa and an air speed of 0.25 m/s inside the chamber.

What electrical supply does the INTECH X300 need?

Total power is 11 kW on a 380 V, 3-phase, 60 Hz supply.

How is the INTECH X300 heated?

By a Riello G20 diesel burner rated at 200,000 kcal/h through an argon-arc welded SUS304 heat exchanger, taking the chamber from 20 °C to 60 °C in 5 to 7 minutes.

How does the INTECH X300 differ from the INTECH X360?

Only in the wall and the base: 50 mm EPS here against ROCKWOOL on the INTECH X360, and a base of three embossed rows and two grille rows here against two embossed rows and three grille rows there. The air and power figures are identical.

What filtration stages does the booth use?

Three: a non-woven pre-filter at the air intake holding particles above 15 μm, a high-efficiency ceiling filter holding over 98% of particles above 5 μm, and an EU2 fibreglass floor filter that catches overspray before exhaust.
