INTECH X900 Paint Booth with PLC touch-screen control

The complete INTECH X700 — four-leaf glass door, 25,000+25,000 m³/h and pneumatic damper — with PLC touch-screen control over the paint, bake, temperature and time modes, and star-delta starting that eases motor start-up current. Aimed at the workshop that wants a controlled cycle repeated the same way every time.

Engineering basis

What makes the difference in daily operation

A cycle set on the screen

The PLC touch panel holds the paint, paint-with-rising-temperature and bake modes and sets the temperature and duration of each stage, so the same cycle repeats from one operator to the next and from one shift to the next.

Star-delta starting

The two 7.5 kW motors start in star and switch to delta, which lowers the start-up current drawn from the workshop panel compared with direct-on-line starting.

How it differs

How the INTECH X900 differs from its nearest model

The INTECH X700 is the same booth with a standard control panel instead of the PLC, and without star-delta starting.

The INTECH X960 is the same booth with ROCKWOOL walls instead of EPS.

The 6900×4000×2650 mm chamber, the burner, the heat output and the ceiling filtration are the same across all INTECH models.

FAQ

Common questions about the INTECH X900

What does PLC control add on the INTECH X900?

A touch screen that runs the paint, paint-with-rising-temperature and bake modes and sets the temperature and duration of each stage, so the same cycle repeats without manual adjustment each time.

What is star-delta starting for?

The motor starts in star and switches to delta, lowering the start-up current compared with direct-on-line starting.

How does the INTECH X900 differ from the INTECH X960?

Only in the wall: 50 mm EPS here, ROCKWOOL on the INTECH X960. Control, air and door are identical.

What is the air capacity of the INTECH X900 paint booth?

25,000 m³/h supply and 25,000 m³/h exhaust, from two 7.5 kW turbine fans.

What electrical supply does the INTECH X900 need?

17 kW on a 380 V, 3-phase, 60 Hz supply.
